Leave The Ladder To Us

Why risk injuries and accidents by trying to install lights yourself? Climbing ladders and navigating rooftops can be dangerous, especially during the colder months. Let Roof Works take care of everything for you! Our skilled technicians are equipped with the right tools and safety gear, ensuring a hassle-free experience from start to finish. You can sit back, relax, and watch as your home transforms into a festive beacon in your neighborhood.  Contact us today to schedule your Christmas light installation and spread the joy of the season!

The Install

How we hang Christmas lights

The roof is the reason to call a roofer for this. It is the same edge detail we work on the rest of the year, which is why Christmas lights on a roofline are a roofing job as much as a decorating one.

At the roof edge

Christmas lights get clipped to the drip edge and run along the gutter line, not stapled or nailed through fascia and shingles. Nothing gets punched into a surface whose whole job is keeping water out.

Before anything goes up

We walk the house with you and agree where the run goes, which rooflines carry the display and which peaks are worth lighting. Rockmart homes vary a lot in pitch and gutter height, so the plan matters more than the number of bulbs. We will say plainly where lights will look good and where they will not.

Off the ladder

Weather is the other reason to hand it over. Roof edges get slick, ladders shift on soft ground, and a string of Christmas lights is not worth a fall off a two-story gable. We carry the ladders and we work off that edge every week of the year.

Booking early is worth it. The calendar fills from late autumn onward and the best slots go first, so it is better to reach out before the season gets busy than after. If you are lighting a storefront or an office rather than a house, we can talk through Christmas lights for that too. We are a GAF-certified roofing company, so the crew putting up your Christmas lights is the same one that knows what a roof edge can take. Ask about payment plans when you book.
